In a normal year, this would've been one of the final days of the annual Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

COVID-19 put the kibosh on the yearly gathering of hundreds of prospects, and hundreds more coaches, NFL front office personnel, media members and fans. The final week of February saw the Draft hopefuls get checked out medically, go through interviews with multiple teams and the media, as well as get tested physically and mentally.

But with no Combine in 2021, college pro days have already begun, and will be in full swing over the next month. The NFL Draft gets going Thursday, April 29 in Cleveland. Houston owns eight selections, but none in the first two rounds.

The Combine was held in Indianapolis every year since 1987. Last year, the Combine was from February 23 through March 2nd. Just over a week later, the Pandemic caused nationwide cancellations of sporting events, as well as work, school and all manner of other public functions.

Several more details about the changes this spring without a Combine can be seen HERE.
